How long does it to take to find a property?

The search to found the suitable properties depends on what you are after, price range, yield if it’s an investment property; we could find your suitable property within 2-3 weeks, however sometimes it could take up to 3 months.

Why do Kiwi Property Climbers charge a deposit?

We charge a deposit to cover the initial expenses of searching for properties, phone calls, petrol etc. Remember this deposit is totally reimbursed once a suitable property has been found. Rest assured we will not stop looking until we have found you a suitable property.

Are you a Real Estate company?

No we aren’t. Real Estate Agents work for the sellers where we concentrate on the buyers.

Is my deposit refundable?

Your deposit will only be reimbursed once a property has been found, rest assured we won’t stop looking until you are completely satisfied with the property we have found, if you choose not to continue with our services we will not refund your deposit.

How does Rent to Own work?

Kiwi Property Climbers is about helping people improve their financial situation by getting on to the first step of the property ladder. We want to help you move into your own house now and know your future purchase price, even if you can’t get a loan right now.
With Rent to Own, you need an up-front deposit and then you pay weekly payments (rent), this is more than normal rent (but less than a mortgage would be for the same property). Depending on how much you pay, some of it gets added to your deposit as you go. This builds up your deposit and a savings history which helps show the bank you can afford a mortgage. It is similar to a bank mortgage where some of your payments would be interest, and some paying off the house, but with ours much more goes towards the house.

You can make improvements to increase the house’s value and also have any increase in value or house prices work for YOU, instead of your LANDLORD!

The length of time it takes depends on your circumstances and how long it takes you to qualify for a loan. Some people need time to repair their credit history or obtain residency, others need to save a higher deposit. We look at your situation and plan a term to suit you (usually between 3 to10 years).
